Best Greek in town and in a large area too.

I waited a whopping two hours for my meal. I repeat "2" hours. Never again.

The food was very good and the menu included varied dishes. Unlike what I would have expected from a Greek. My lamb ragout was excellent. Service very attentive. I am happy to be a guest here again

Very tasty Greek. The best in the area around Itzehoe. Nice restaurant due to the built grotto.

Super delicious food, I can only recommend it to anyone who likes spicy food. Me and my companion will definitely come back and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere this restaurant offers. For Itzehoe really great and very nice staff.

Cozy restaurant. If full, then quite loud in some areas. Despite extensive menu delicious food. Friendly and attentive staff. No cheap Greeks and that's a good thing.

We came because of the atmosphere and thanks to the appealing deco it was also well done. It is quaint, romantic and cozy. The Ouzo as an aperitif from the house is of good quality, but unfortunately not really cold and is served with ice cubes. Actually, it is best served from the freezer in pre-chilled glass. So it was a bit watered down and cloudy, as you know it from a cold poured Pastis. Now for the food and the biggest point of criticism right away: the portions are, compared to the price and in relation to the offered quality, unfortunately not very lush. The roasted hot peppers as an appetizer taste like being thrown from the jar into the pan. The salad is crisp and fresh, but unfortunately comes without coleslaw, which is actually expected in the Greek. The dressing is a little too lax, could be better tasted. In itself, the meat of the main courses was okay, but a bit too dry. Unfortunately, the gyros were also quite dry and would have liked to be juicier. Maybe it was just too lean. In addition Tsatsiki is served, which seems to be "Zaziki" the mark Apostels from the supermarket. Taste and consistency made us very doubt that this is a self-made product. The rice was okay, but not cooked in the usual Greek style. The lamb from the oven was very good, the vegetables were crisp and fresh, but unfortunately a little small portion. The plate for 2 persons was for about 40 euros quite manageable and without gyros. From ordering to serving it takes a long time (good hour). Otherwise the service is attentive and friendly. The toilets seem clean and well maintained, but are a bit too dark as the dark walls absorb much light and the dimmed yellowish light does not give much. All in all, a sufficient to average performance. Due to the special ambience, the quite high prices and our basis of comparison by visits of innumerable other Greek restaurants our expectation was set accordingly somewhat higher and was unfortunately disappointed.
